Counterbalance Features:

  • Counterbalanced mechanism assists with lifting and lowering heavier door panels (up to 1.600 lbs)
  • We custom configure your Counterbalance Mechanism (see ‘Part Numbers’ tab for details), allowing you to EASILY operate heavy doors:
    • No excessive force required to lift
    • No ‘runaway handle’ when lowering the door
  • Uses the same milling route as the standard 95 Lift & Slide mechanism, no need for additional milling

Our Lift & Slide Gear Mechanism is Patented and provides you the latest innovations on Lift & Slide hardware.  The counterbalance feature assists with lifting and lowering heavier door panels:

  • Counterbalanced mechanism assists with lifting and lowering heavier door panels (up to 1,600 lbs)
    • Counterbalance feature requires customization for your door weight.  See ‘Part Numbers’ tab for details
  • Allows you to EASILY operate heavy doors:

  • Example 1: Door weight of 1,600 lbs on a 12 ft. long door panel.  Part Number is 95-CB-1600
  • Example 2:  Door weight of 1,350 lbs on a 9 ft. long door panel.  Part Number is 95-CB-1350
  • Example 3: Door weight of 875 lbs on a 6 ft. long door panel.  Part Number is 95-CB-875
  • 97 – Front Lift & Slide Roller Carriage; 800 lbs capacity (Lift & Slide Basic Roller Kit includes Qty. of 1 #97)
  • 98 – Rear Lift & Slide Roller Carriage; 800 lbs capacity (Lift & Slide Basic Roller Kit includes Qty. of 1 #98)
    • Even though the Lift & Slide Basic Roller Kit is capable of supporting 1,600 lbs (800 lbs per roller carriage), if your door panel is 8′ long or more, we do recommend ordering an additional #98 Rear Roller Carriage for every additional 5′.  See examples below:
      • 6′ long panel – BRK
      • 8′ long panel – BRK, plus 1 additional #98 Roller carriage
      • 10′ long panel – BRK, plus 1 additional #98 Roller carriage
      • 12′ long panel – BRK, plus 2 additional #98 Roller carriages
