FPL’s American Style Cylinder has a tail piece that protrudes from the cylinder to engage with tubular latches or American Style Mortise Mechanisms (see ‘Compatibility’ tab). It easily integrates into our cylinder housing for Swing Door Trim Plates, or the cylinder housing on our Sliding Door Handles, providing security and peace of mind for the homeowner.
