Lock Adapter

#14 Adapter (Standard):

  • Flat adapter with mounting screw spacing of 5.4″.  Offers 7/8″ Backset when installed on door edge (pair with #8 Strike OR #9 Strike).  Can be used for a 1-3/8″ or 1-1/2″ Backset if recessed in the door stile (For 1-3/8″ Backset, pair with #6 Strike; For 1-1/2″ Backset, pair with #18 Strike)

#7 Adapter:

  • Flat adapter with mounting screw spacing of 4.635″.  Offers 7/8″ Backset when installed on door edge (pair with #8 Strike OR #9 Strike).  Can be used for a 1-3/8″ or 1-1/2″ Backset if recessed in the door stile (For 1-3/8″ Backset, pair with #6 Strike; For 1-1/2″ Backset, pair with #18 Strike)

#5 Adapter:

  • Recesses the #3-45 Mechanism further in the door stile, achieving a 1-3/8″ Backset (pair with the #6 Strike)

Strike

#6 Strike (Standard):

  • Surface mounted strike (adjustable) that is used with a Backset of 1-3/8″ (with adapters #14, #7, or #5)

#8 Strike:

  • Flat surface mounted strike that is used with a Backset of 7/8″ (with adapters #14 or #7)

#9 Strike:

  • Flat surface mounted strike (adjustable) that is used with a Backset of 7/8″ (with adapters #14 or #7)

#18 Strike:

  • Surface mounted strike (adjustable) that is used with a Backset of 1-1/2″ (with adapters #14 or #7)
